Terms of Sale
Last updated: 8 October 2026
These terms apply when you buy an online course from us. Please read them before you pay. They should be read with our Terms of Use, Privacy Policy and Refund and Cancellation Policy.
1. Who we are
Discover Training Ltd, trading as Mindskills Matter, company number 08375435.
Address: Wigan Hall, New Market Street, Wigan, WN1 1HH, United Kingdom.
Email: support@mindskills.com. Phone: 01942 356580 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm).
2. What you are buying
We sell online, self-paced training courses. Each course page describes the course, including its content, level and approximate duration. Courses are digital content that you access through your account on this website. Some courses may be accredited by another body; where they are, the course page says so.
When you buy a course you get access to it for as long as we make it available (“lifetime access”). It is for your own learning only, under our Terms of Use.
3. Making an order
- You choose a course, review the price and details, and complete payment on our secure checkout.
- Before you pay, you will be asked to accept these terms and to confirm that you want immediate access (see section 6).
- Your order is placed when you pay. Our contract with you starts when payment is confirmed and the course is made available in your account. We then email you a confirmation.
You must be 18 or over to buy a course.
4. Price and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP) on the course page and at checkout. Discover Training Ltd is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added. The price you see at checkout is the full price you pay. There are no extra fees from us.
Payments are taken by card and other methods offered at checkout through Stripe. Your payment details are handled securely by Stripe and are not stored by us. If we spot an obvious pricing error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.
5. Getting your course
Your course is available in your account straight after your payment is confirmed. If it is not, email us at support@mindskills.com and we will fix it.
6. Your right to cancel
Normally, if you are a consumer who buys at a distance, you have 14 days after the contract is made to cancel without giving a reason. Digital content is different. If you ask us to start supplying it straight away and acknowledge that you will lose your right to cancel once we do, the right to cancel ends as soon as your course is made available.
We ask you to confirm both points with a tick-box before you pay, and we record that you did. If you do not want to give up your right to cancel, please do not buy the course. You can contact us with questions first.
This does not affect your rights if the course is faulty or not as described, explained in section 7.
7. If something goes wrong
Digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for the purpose it is sold for, and as described. If a course is faulty or not as described, you have legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. You are entitled to a repair or replacement. If that is not possible, or not done within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience, you are entitled to a price reduction of up to a full refund. If faulty digital content damages your device or other digital content, you may be entitled to a repair or compensation.
Please contact us as soon as you notice a problem. See our Refund and Cancellation Policy for how refunds work.
8. Access codes and organisations
Some courses are provided through access codes. Each code can be used up to the number of times set when it was issued, and only by the people the organisation intends. A code gives access to the course named when the code was created.
If an organisation buys courses or codes for its staff, the organisation is a business customer. The Consumer Rights Act and the right to cancel do not apply to business purchases. A separate written agreement may set out additional terms. Where there is a conflict, that agreement applies. Learners who redeem a code should read our Privacy Policy, which explains what we may share with the organisation.
9. Our responsibility to you
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected. For business customers, our liability is limited as set out in our Terms of Use.
10. Complaints
If you are not happy, please contact us at support@mindskills.com or on 01942 356580. We aim to reply within 5 working days. If we cannot resolve your complaint, you may be able to use the Citizens Advice consumer service (0808 223 1133).
11. Other terms
We may change these terms. The version in force when you place your order applies to that order. If a part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. We may transfer our rights to another business, but this will not reduce your rights. You may not transfer yours without our agreement.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland may also bring a claim in the courts where they live.
