Refund and Cancellation Policy
Last updated: 8 October 2026
This page explains when you can cancel or get a refund for a course. It sits alongside our Terms of Sale and does not affect your legal rights.
1. Cancelling because you changed your mind
The law gives consumers a 14-day right to cancel most online purchases. For digital content that is supplied immediately, that right ends once the content is made available, if you have asked for immediate access and acknowledged this before paying.
We ask you to confirm this at checkout. Because your course is available as soon as payment is confirmed, we cannot offer a refund if you simply change your mind after that point. If you are unsure, please contact us before you buy.
2. When we will refund you
We will refund you, in full or in the proportion that is fair, if:
- the course is faulty and we cannot fix it, or do not fix it within a reasonable time;
- the course is not as described on the course page;
- we cannot give you access to the course, or we permanently withdraw a course you bought and have not completed;
- you were charged twice, or charged the wrong amount; or
- a payment was taken but the order did not complete.
These refunds are in addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. They do not replace them.
3. How to ask for a refund
Email support@mindskills.com or call 01942 356580 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm). Please include the email address on your account, the course name and a short description of the problem. We aim to reply within 5 working days.
4. How refunds are paid
- Refunds go back to the payment method you used. We cannot refund to a different card or account.
- We will process an agreed refund without delay, and within 14 days of agreeing it.
- After we send it, your bank or card provider may take a few more working days to show it.
- When a refund is paid, access to that course may be removed.
5. Access codes and organisations
Access codes issued to an organisation are business purchases, and the 14-day right to cancel does not apply. If there is a problem with a code or a bulk order, contact us and we will put it right. Any extra terms in your written agreement with us apply.
6. Disputes and chargebacks
If there is a problem with a payment, please speak to us first. We can usually resolve it faster than your bank. Your right to ask your card provider for a refund where the law allows is not affected.
